Spring is a season that everyone is happy to see, especially after the winter that was seen throughout the United States this year. If you’ve recently relocated to the Raleigh area, here are some events you can enjoy with your family after you’ve settled into your new home.
Do you have a frog lover in your family? If your little ones love their four legged amphibians, you simply cannot miss this event. Located at Crowder District Park, your family of all ages will be able to celebrate frogs and learn about water quality and preservation in Wake County. Also enjoy the crafts, games, food trucks, and a frog petting zoo to get to touch with a variety of frogs and reptiles.
Located on Hill Ridge Farms, this run/walk/climb will be something your kids will be talking about for years to come. As the name implies, you will be going through a muddy obstacle course designed for parents and children ages 6-12 years old. The Big Muddy Run is a great way to have some great fun by using teamwork with your child.
This is the ultimate egg hunt, with over 3,000 eggs ready and waiting for your children to find them. They are stuffed with candy and prizes, hidden on three golf courses diving different age groups for fairness. The $3 admission benefits the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern North Carolina.
