Durham Mover Review
I am in the military and have moved over nine times. Most of the time when things go well, we tend to move on and focus on the complexities and stress of moving. However for this one, I want to take the time and write a positive review for the people who worked hard and took exceptional care of our priceless antique household goods. This is of the best moves we've had. DeHavans moved around 16,000 lbs of our household goods with no damage or loss. They had three packers four two days and seven loaders on day three. All personal involved were very professional and took the care and time necessary to properly care for our goods. Mary (our head packer) and Dave (our driver) made sure our move was a success and helped to manage the whole team. I would recommend this crew to friends and family.

I wanted to thank Robert Long, President, for your service and support in my move from Ct. to NC. Donna, Robert Jr., Willis and the three gentleman that helped in the move (didn't want to misspell all their names ;-) were all very professional and very good at their jobs! My move to from Rock Hill to Huntington Beach went off without a hitch. The packers were courteous and respectful of my goods - realizing they were moving memories of my life and not just stuff. The driver was knowledgeable and professional. He talked me through the entire process of pickup and delivery. He even eschewed the use of a shuttle to save me money. Marqui and his team did a great job on our move! We were impressed with how everyone was respectful of our HHG's and they were so energetic. The manner in which everything was padded and handled was just great! We were impressed with Ervin and hope you can send him up the road with Marqui and we get to see him again up there. Heck, send the whole team. They were great guys and we noted that they worked well as a team.

I wanted to take time out of my day to write a note of appreciation. My family and I were uprooted from our lives in Wilmington, NC and are moving to Spokane,Washington. During the time we were looking at moving compaanies the one thing that was important to us was that the company understand what we were going through.Ultimately we choose DeHavens not because of your reputation or anything we had previously heard, but soley based on Matt Ward, who repersented your organization as good as you could possibly hope. After booking the move with DeHavens, Matt continued to constanly be on top of our move. He made sure we were OK,and we had everything we needed,he would make suggestions....you get the point. My wife said Matt made sure that she was aware of every aspect of the moving process based on his knowledge, experience and just plain consideration for people. I have not recieved my furniture as of yet but my wife said the driver was outstanding as well, and I anticipate no problems. I just wanted to pass along that your moving team on Friday, directed by Francisco, did an excellent job moving our group on the 13th floor of University Tower. They were very careful in moving all of our furniture as I did not detect any scratches on the walls. Also, Francisco was very patient and dedicated to breaking down and rebuilding a desk that needed to be moved and rebuilt. We appreciated expertise in managing that project. All in all, we could not have asked for a more careful, attentive group to move our offices!
