The Customer Service Representative (CSR) arranges and manages relocation, storage, and logistics, from the point of sell to completion, for the move process. This includes a wide array of tasks to ensure a successful experience for the customer. Serving as the one point of contact for customers, the CSR also serves as a liaison for all parties involved, including Sales, Dispatch, northAmerican Van Lines, etc.
Responsibilities
- · Answer incoming calls, distribute calls and messages, and answer product and service questions.
- · Prepare quotes and schedule appointments when needed.
- · Actively manage and maintain files, acting within company guidelines.
- · Input and maintain customer information in the company and northAmerican Van Lines database.
- · Obtain all necessary information for each relocation.
- · Explain service features, terms, and quotes in detail to customers.
- · Provide exceptional customer service by always maintaining professionalism and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner and provide a positive environment within the company.
- · Ensure overall customer satisfaction by proactively assessing the customer’s needs and avoiding potential issues.
- · Prepare necessary paperwork for each job.
- · Collect customer payments when needed.
- · Assist in resolving customer issues due to service failure.
- · Maintain accurate records and reports.
- · Maintain ongoing awareness of new services.
- · Communicate effectively with other departments and employees within the company.
- · Contributes to team effort by performing other tasks as needed.
Qualifications

Candidates need to have experience in customer service, posses effective written and oral communication skills, self-confidence, product knowledge, integrity, drive, and flexibility. Use of a database is a plus.
